Kevin Zhang

CO-PRESIDENT

Kevin is a senior from Austria studying Finance and Statistics at Wharton and Computer Science at the School of Engineering. Outside of PEVC, Kevin is also a member of WITG SSG and Industrials and previously the VP of Education for WUDAC. Last summer, he interned at PJT’s Restructuring & Special Situations Group. Kevin enjoys watching movies, reading, and playing tennis.

 

Muhammad Vakil

VP, Corporate Outreach

Muhammad is a junior at Wharton from Dubai and studying Finance and Business Analytics. Outside of PEVC, he is involved with WUCC, Violet Quaker Group, and the MODEL UN Travel Team. He has interned at LMR Partners (TMT L/S Equities) and Grant Thornton (M&A Advisory). In his free time, he enjoys playing table tennis and spending time with friends.

 

Otakar Korinek

VP, INVESTMENT ANALYSIS

Otakar is a junior from Prague, studying Finance and Data Science. Outside of PEVC, he is an active member of Global Platinum Securities and WITG SSG. Previously, he interned at Credo Crossover, a fund investing in B2B software companies across public, private, and secondary markets. In his free time, he enjoys working out, cooking, and learning random facts.

 

Rohan Srivastava

VP, PEVC ACADEMY

Rohan Srivastava is a sophomore from Sydney, Australia studying finance, statistics, and psychology. Outside of PEVC, he is an analyst in Global Platinum Securities and WITG Tactical Opportunities. Previously, he interned at Allegro Funds, a middle-market transformational private equity firm in Sydney. In his free time, he enjoys fiction novels, tennis, and DJing.

Suraj Sait

CO-PRESIDENT

Suraj is a senior from Rhode Island, studying Finance and Accounting at Wharton and Data Science at the School of Engineering. Outside of PEVC, he is a portfolio manager for WITG TMT and is president of Phi Chi Theta. Last summer, he interned at PJT’s Restructuring & Special Situations Group. In his free time, he enjoys watching the Patriots, playing ultimate frisbee, and reading Brandon Sanderson novels.

 

Adrian Melendez

VP, INDUSTRY PROJECTS

Adrian is a senior from New York City concentrating in Finance and Accounting. Outside of PEVC, he is an active member in the Wharton Investment and Trading Group. Previously, he interned in the Global Industrials Group at Goldman Sachs and Third Point LLC. In his free time, Adrian enjoys snowboarding, traveling, playing all types of sports, and spending time with friends. 

 

Kah Kheng Ghan

VP, INVESTMENT ANALYSIS

Kah Kheng is a sophomore from Singapore studying Finance and Statistics. Outside of PEVC, he is a member of WITG SSG and TacOpps, VP of Education at WUDIG and Violet Quakers. He previously interned at Tower Capital Asia, an Asia-focused PE fund, and Vertex Ventures, a Series A/B focused tech VC. In his free time, Kah Kheng enjoys running, hiking, and playing chess.

 

Mikail Jaffer

VP, COMPETITIONS

Mikail is a junior from Pennsylvania, studying Economics, Statistics, and Data Science. Outside of PEVC, he is involved in the Penn Undergraduate Biotech Society and is a researcher at the Bowman Lab at Penn Med. He spent this past summer at Social Capital with a focus on healthcare and life science investments and is currently working on a therapeutics start-up. In his free time, Mikail enjoys playing some footy and watching F1.

Madeleine Yeh

VP, CORPORATE OUTREACH

Madeleine is a junior at Wharton from Dubai and Seattle. She previously interned at Point72 Private Investments. Outside of PEVC, she is involved in Penn Apetit, Penn Venture Group, and Wharton Investment and Trading Group (Consumer Retail). In her free time, Madeleine can be found refining her ceramics technique, building grazing tables, and exploring the city of Philadelphia with friends.

 

Oliver Dalmi

VP, INDUSTRY PROJECTS

Oliver is a senior from North Dakota concentrating in Finance and Statistics, as well as pursuing a master's in Data Science at the School of Engineering. Outside of PEVC, he is the Portfolio Manager for WITG TacOpps and is on the board for the Violet Quaker Group. Last summer, he interned at Houlihan Lokey's Restructuring Group. In his free time, he enjoys reading and spending time with friends.

 

Jeffrey Zhang

VP, PEVC ACADEMY

Jeff is a senior from Ohio studying computational biology, finance, and statistics in the LSM program. He is also involved in WITG. Previously, he interned at Advent International and Aster Insights, an oncology-focused bioinformatics company. Last summer, he interned at Evercore’s restructuring group in New York. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, tennis, and reading.

 

Araash Ahuja

VP, MARKETING

Araash is a sophomore from NJ and at Wharton, where he studies statistics and finance. He also does statistics research, invests in stocks (long) and trades options in arrow11, and is part of WITG Real Estate. Last summer, he interned at Habit Ventures, a crossover fund specializing in subscription-based companies. He is a sneakerhead and loves to play golf.
